BIOGRAPHY DJ TONE DEFIt all started when my father couldn’t get me away from the home stereo starting on vinyl and then moving into the digital age with the convenience of computers and cd’s.During the very early 90's, Dj Tone Def began what you may call the beginning of a phenomenal career and through sheer hard work and an unquestioned amount of talent, Tone Def is hoping to become one of Australia's most recognized and sort after Deejay Remixer Producer.In turn Dj Tone Def has also undoubtedly created an era of Hi Nrg, Techno and Euro Dance and also helps promote the top 40 music in Australia. His trademark remixes, mega mixes and his own remixed tracks have made Tone Def a household name amongst club goers. Tone Def’s acute ear for music has also seen him become a specialist in audio mastering thanks to internet working with the likes of international record companies, deejay remix services and also working with compilations such as Ministry of Sound & Wild compilations. Tone who is both known for his skills on the decks as much as for his talents in the studio is becoming one of Australia's greatest dj entertainers. Following his success with his own tracks, Tone hopes to open a gateway to Europe for his addictive club sounds. Tone is also credited with Remixing tracks for nova radio stations and hot fm alsoworking with some of Australia’s best dj's from as far back as the late 90’s just to name a few pee wee ferris - nick skitz – jimmyz – and lots of other along the way, Also having a lot of input in chart predictions state and nationally starting in the 90’s on the dmi international club play charts. In 89 was asked to enter in the Queensland dmc dj remixing competition live with a third place. Tone has had an array of success working in nightclubs up and down the east coast of Australia. Tone’s tracks have proven to be popular across Australia which is why he is in demand deejaying regularly allover. From raves – dance party’s – and clubs music has and will always be a major part of his life.From working in an array of different studios building his trademark sound, Tone now finds himself residing in his own personal studio with the freedom to pursue and develop his great talent. Tone is a dynamic workaholic who's unbeatable selection of music never fails to result in screams on the dance floor. When asked about the scene and his success he humbly shies away from the public eye of the music industry, Tone points out that his passion for playing live and watching a packed dance floor of happy club goers enjoying themselves is his motivation.
