I have 7 kids between the ages of 16 & 31, so I'm much more comfortable around the younger generation than I am my own generation! Helps that I'm really young at heart and still in great shape for a guy over 50! I love to laugh until it hurts, and generally just love to have a good time and make some new friends, which is why I'm here! My life experiences thus far have been nothing short of phenomenal, and I consider myself to be truly lucky in that respect. I'm very adaptable, meaning that I can go from playing volleyball with my kids and the younger crowd, to sitting with a bunch of older people from my generation and having a nice conversation. I generally prefer to stay active, and thoroughly enjoy nearly any kind of activity (especially one in particular! lol) I spent the better part of the last 30 years building a family legacy, so I haven't had anyone I could call a "best friend" for all those years, which is fine, since I truly believe that "family comes first"! Now that the kids are all grown, almost, I need to "spread my wings" and see what's out there once again! I haven't been out and about since the late 80's, so bear with me if I seem a bit old-fashioned! lol

Interests
I love all types of movies, but some of my favorites are The Avengers, The Sons of Katie Elder (John Wayne), All 6 Lord of the Rings/Hobbit movies, Deadpool, Dumb & Dumber, The Hangover, The DaVinci Code, and many more. As for TV shows, I've always loved Criminal Minds and Cheers. Currently, I watch Lucifer, River Monsters, and The Curse of Oak Island. Music, well, I like almost anything, but not really a big fan of country, and I hate rap/hip-hop! I actually have a few old-school rap albums (Big Daddy Kane, Run DMC), but I'm not a fan of the newer stuff. Love all forms of rock, particularly metal. Some pop is okay, as is dance/techno and that type of music. I haven't honestly read a book in over 20 years, but anything by Stephen King is awesome. I also really enjoyed Brian Lumley's Necroscope series, and Kim Newman's Anno Dracula series. I like card games and board games as well. Cards Against Humanity (& Crabs Adjust Humidity) are awesome and fun as hell! I may be 52, but I can still kick ass at Fallout 4, Skyrim, GTA V, Rock Band, etc. Not too good at online FPS games, but love the campaign modes. I enjoy simple things as well, such as sitting and enjoying a cup of coffee with a nice conversation, or a few beers while shooting some pool.
Music
All forms of rock, mostly metal. Some of my favorites, old and newer, are Pink Floyd, Journey, Disturbed, Volbeat, Bullet For My Valentine, Avenged Sevenfold, Megadeth, Metallica, Shinedown, Ozzy, Marilyn Manson, Elvis, The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, and many more.
