Looking for friends. I say that because you have to have a friendship first before any type of relationship blooms. Dont really have anyone in my circle I feel I can open up to. Would like to find that. I have a great sense of humor (sarcastic not hurtful), blunt (sometimes too blunt), caring (sometimes to much). Love anything having to do with computers or current events. Have to read the paper either real or online daily. Basically looking for someone that I can call or that can call me and just ask hows the day going, a shoulder to cry on or be cried on, someone that can plot revenge then talk me out of it...lol
Basically a good, best, friend
Just wanted to add something. To a lot of the women, it may not be a big deal sending someone an email or IM here. To me it is. I feel like if I take the time to send an email or IM then the people receiving it should at least take the time to reply. Even if its "not interested". Its common courtesy. If someone spoke to you in public, would you just outright ignore them?
Also if you say you are looking for friends but then decide you cant be friends with someone of my race, there's a much better way to express that than to lower yourself to using the "N" word. I didnt know I had to be a certain color to become someone's friend. Its sad, kids arent born racist , its the parents that make them that way. And the same people that wont befriend someone of another color will sit there on game day and root for their favorite sports player who more than likely isnt the same color either. Will try to get someones autograph and wear their jersey, but become their real friend? Not gonna happen. Sad isnt it that the world is like that.
Ladies just because im African American doesnt mean I speak ebonics, hang out on the corner, have my teeth covered in gold or a thug. I am college educated, a 10 yr military vet, who has career and life goals. This doesnt mean im a "sell out" or trying to be anything im not. Just means I know when and how to be normal (at least society's view), and when to flip the script.
Ok im off my soapbox now. For those it didnt pertain to, I apologize, and for those not willing to become friends, its ok, its your loss.
