My life has been full of magic. The magic of being loved and cherished. The magic that only a child can fill you with when they wrap their arms around your neck. The magic of a man's love that fills your heart to the point you think it will explode. Pure and innocent magic.................. We live a busy life here on our little mini-farm, tucked away far enough to not feel the fast encroaching city. Where I can sit on my front porch as the sun rises and watch the wild animals awaken and come to share the morning sunlight with me and the bounty of food I have placed for them. What a small price to pay to be allowed to share their morning glory. A place where I can lay on my bed on my belly at night and watch the deer graze peacefully outside my window or hear the whippoorwills call. A small piece of heaven on earth that with blood, sweat and laughter my husband and I cleared bit by bit by hand in 87'. With all the hopes and dreams a young couple has for the future. As the barn was raised and the noise of farm animals filled the air neither of us knew our time here together would be so short. Our son's thrived here and frolicked through the gardens and the pastures with their animal friends in tow. Life has been blessed.........but not as I expected. The heart beat of life drums in my head as I remember February of 92'. Danny........ my sweet, loving best friend, comrade, confident, lover, defender, soul mate, father of my children and my mate for life..........took his last breath. Being Danny he did it with humor ........he cut a joke at me and then had a massive heart attack at the young age of 42. He went in my arms with me yelling that I loved him and not to leave yet............but he had to go. I wasn't in fear for him because I knew where he was going. I was in fear for me and the boys. To live life without him was unthinkable, unbelievable, unbearable and unwanted. But the heart beat of life drums on.......... and life has been full and blessed. There are two new blessings of God in our household. Alexis Rose & Hopelynn Kay.............our miracles..........that make the magic once again flow freely through every inch of our world. I've learned over the last 14 years of missing our Danny that I have so much to be grateful and thankful for. Our family experienced a pure and true love with this man that so many search a life time for.......
