My main interests are Music, Football and literature. I love Rock music of most types and most eras and have sang in several Rock bands myself, yet never made it to the big time lik so many others. But I'm proud of the lyrics I composed and the songs i wrote with my bud Steve. I love football with a passion and especially Arsenal Football Club. I was born the day they completed the Double in 1971 so i guess it was meant to be. I am a member of my local AFC Supporters club and get over to see them a few times a year. Wish it was more. I love reading books - mostly thrillers. My fave authors are Michael Connelly, John Connelly, Ian Rankin, Richard Montinari, Lee Child, Peter James, Harlen Coben oh hell,,, too many to mention. I am, like all semi-educated halfwits, trying to write a novel myself and it's pretty advancedstory wise and there's a lot of pages gathered up. I just need time to sit down and piece the bloody thing together...but I probably never will. And sometimes reading my fave authors inspires me but other times it leaves me feeling inadequate. Ny only other interests othe than my job is my children and i try my best to give them the best start in life they can have and to arm them with the love and support they need to be able to make their own mark in the world they way I tried, but failed to do. I hope I don't mean live through them, but simply take pride in bringing up well rounded kids with no hangups. I think my other interests should remain a secret..lol
