I watched you walk away with that look on your face, I held onto the last words you said,I should of known you were leaving me forever. I had this childlike wonder, a faith in something that wasn't really there, and I believed the lies that you expressed through your touch. I fell for your stories, and I craved the love that you did not show...I should have seen the coldness in your eyes, I should have known that it wasn't the truth when the lies started to change the story. You walked away from a woman of hope, a child of wonder, and replaced her with a world of pain and torment. I begged for forgiveness for a blame that was not mine, I became an adult when I was just a child, I picked myself up everytime you tore me down, and yet still I ran to you when you ran away. I was pure, and I was selfless and all that I had left of me and all that was to gain was ripped away to pay for the life you wanted so badly to have. I watched you disaapear into the night to prey on your next, and finally realized you had left forever. I still hold on to everything you said, I still see your face when I close my eyes.
