I'm Melissa. I go by Mel, Lissa, Izzy, and even Meliza. I am a musician. I am mainly a pianist and a singer. I also love to oil paint. I also write poetry as well as into photography. I love being outside, walking, hanging out, doing just about anything.
As I put I am a part time student currently. I am going for my music and art education majors. As well as working as a waitress at two partnering senior communities. I also teach piano to a couple kids each week. I love my work and everything I do.
I am a down to earth, sweet, goofy kind of girl. Always up for an adventure or up for something new. Like everyone else, I ran into some tough spots in life but I am moving forward and enjoying life. I do put others and their needs before my own. Seeing someone happy makes me happy. I always see good in others but never the bad. I am free spirited and laid back. I have had my heart broken often. I am passionate about the things i do and I am compassionate about the things I love. I am not exactly close with a big part of my family, including my father. If that is a problem I am sorry. I am very close with my brother and a few cousins along with their spouses and even my mum and i are quite close.
I do not have a music preference. I will tell you artists i listen to often but, it's hard to find one I don't like. (This not counting Justin Bieber or Taylor Swift). If you want my artistic view on music, it is this: "Music speaks in ways talking can't. If it feels to you, sucks you in, and devours you in it's tune, then it has done it's job. Don't think about who the people are that are playing it. Close your eyes and think what the song is saying to you, and take it's beautiful voice in your soul forever." :) (yes i wrote that)
I am a tomboy, but i can also dress up. I honestly love to look nice as well as dance in the rain. If I missed anything, I am sure you will learn in time. Hopefully it is all positive things :)
