I am 34, the mother of 2 boys, 13 and 11. They are my lil sunshines. I am very single. Moved from Columbia, MO to Omaha, NE after the split from my boyfriend of 5 years. Which was the best thing for me and I thank him for that. The break up not the 5 years. I like to go camping (although after a few days, I need my civilization back), going for walks (have bad knees from a volleyball injury in school, damn that was years ago, but anyway back to the subject at hand. So, because of my stupid knees, I can't last very long on certain terrain.), reading, swimming (can do that for hours, no excuses on that one). I am here for friends, I will chat and who knows it might lead to something more, but I am not looking for a one night stand or to "hook up" as some guys like to say. I don't want to be hit on, nor do I want to cyber with anyone. In all honesty my mind wanders way too much and I am not good at it. In fact I think it is stupid and pointless, but that is my opinion. Flattery is nice, but I am sorry I don't want to be told over and over again how pretty, cute, sexy, hot or gorgeous I am in every other sentence that you write. Once is enough to get a point across, anything more is annoying and bordering on harassment. However, this does not apply to my true friends out there. I know they are being genuine and they know who they are.

Music
I love all different music from the 60's, 70's, 80's (big on those)90's and today. Some 40 and 50's as well. Don't care for classical, puts me to sleep and I sleep enough as it is. As I am typing, I am listening to Pete Townshend's Let my love open the door. There are so many great songs from each era, and I have noticed that some people are so set in their music ways, that to hear something "new" would be like taking a hot poker and jabbing themselves with it. I just don't understand that.
Movies
My my I can go on and on for hours about movies. I love the cheesy horror movies, where you know what's going to happen before it does. The comedies that make you laugh so hard you cry or lose brain cells just by watching it. The dramas that make you cry so hard you laugh about it. My favorites are Willow, Once Bitten, Undercover Blues, Fried Green Tomatoes, Steel Magnolias, The Three Musketeers.
Video Games
I have a gamecube, actually 3... think that's too many? lol anyway my favorites include action, adventure, role-play, pretty much any game I will try. My fave is Resident Evil 4. I play Everquest frequently and City of Heroes a little. Right now my accounts aren't up for them, though.
