Since no1 ever checks & or reads the bulletins on here I'd like very much 4 u 2 take the time n' read this n' copy n' repost it on any bulletins u might have on other sites!!!

I was on MSNBC going to local news and saw an article on the No kill Shelter in Lago Vista. Donations are so far down, in this shitty economy, that they may have to close. Now, I thought this would mean they would shift the existing animals to other shelters, but apparently, that's not how it works. Based on the Austin American Statesmen article, all of the animals currently in the no kill shelter would have to be euthanized. Talk about innocent victims of our economy. Anyway, I donated, cause that just sucks.
If you are so inclined, below is the link to their website, and they have a donation button. If you have an extra $5.00 I am sure it couldn't hurt. I donated way more, cause I made the mistake of looking at the animals they have for adoption...and I am a sucker for a kitty face n' dawgiez! --;o) Gayla
The shelter currently has 350 cats and dogs. If the shelter closes, the animals will be euthanized. For more information on the shelter, go to its Web site.
