| Ok my friend and I are in a debate right now...And I'm turning it over to the mummers...I was telling her that another friend of mine is in an abusive relationship. Her husbands is beating the crap out of her on a daily basis and sometimes even in front of their children. Her brother that lives in a different state has offered to come pick her up while her husband is at work and take her to his house. I was saying that I think my friend is crazy for not taking him up on the offer..But, my other friend who has been in an abusive relationship is trying to tell me why the woman "can't" leave. She said he'll hunt her down..My response to that was..And what? Kill her? She faces that risk everyday as it is living with the asshole! What do you think? Should my friend up and leave this sorry ass or stick around til he kills her? Anyone that can offer me a stronger point of her staying..Feel free to do so...Cause If it was I..I'd be long gone! But I've never been in a physically abusive relationship so maybe I'm being niave. |
