To be more specific on my last mumm here it is: My son is 10 years old and his father has been in and out of the picture for the last 5 years since we separated. He is currently (my son) on daily medication for ADHD and has been since he was 6 years old. His dad is in and out of prison/jail and depending on him for anything is out of the question. I have done and tried everything possible to do my part in raising him and have been referred by his doctor to a behavorial specialist for extra counseling. He hasn't always been this defiant, but the last few months it seems to have gotten worse at school.
Military school is it an option or should I try other resources given to me by the specialist? |
