| I am a nurse on an oncology (cancer) floor at the hospital where I work. My daughter was admitted as an outpatient for her first chemo treatment for JRA. She has failed 3 years of treatment so they had to go with chemo agents. We got on my floor at 12 pm yesterday and left at 11:45pm...almost 12 hours of infusion. They called me at 4:30 am this morning to see if I could work today. I told them no! First...side effects and need to watch her...second I need a day off! I could really use the money but.....I told them no! |
