So it was about a million degrees out today, and I have no a/c in my car. I went to a shop not too long ago and they want to charge me $125.00 to find out why my a/c went out, $90.00 to find out why one of the fans in the engine is not working plus the cost of fixing it after they find out why. Then they said I have a tie-rod going out and that would be about $260.00 plus the alignment $40.00. My car has about 193,000 miles on it and I just put about $2000.00 into it in the last year.
Help me make up my mind:
Do I:
A: Pay a crap load of money on fixing my beast at the rip off artist autoshop;
or,
B: Hold out till the car craps out and hope I can buy another by then. |
