My husband and I have had my 7 year old stepson since July and he goes back to his Mom's next weekend. For years she has been telling us that he is out of control with his behavior and she took him to his Pediatrician who diagnosed him with ADHD and put him on medication for it. They then decided to take him off of it for the summer to ensure that he wasn't becoming "immune" to it. So, for this time that we have had him he has had no medication and has been absolutely out of control. Mind you this whole time we thought my husband's ex was crazy as we never experienced this behavior before. We have grounded him, taken privelages away and even spanked him but nothing seems to be working. What would you do with him if he was bad again?
