It is usually associated with ideals of knightly virtues, honor and courtly love. The word is derived from the French word chevalier, indicating one who rides a horse (Fr. cheval).
Today, the terms chivalry and chivalrous are used to describe courteous behavior, especially that of men towards women.
I can say in my own life I grow to respect women more and more each day...
I think respect is path to Chivarly! Does women want this or what? I know what your answer is... For most women they will say yes. However their actions say different.
Mean they are Asshole magnets.. and/or they are attracted to chicken shits on ego trips.. Feel free to comment please.
And if your in a loving relationship with a good man this does not apply to you.
