I hate those ads for all the "poor" people that work in the movie business. "Every time you illegally download a movie...it affects everyone from the actors to the guy at the popcorn stand..." Bullshit. Actors will always continue to be way overpaid and the guy selling the pocorn will always continue to be extremely underpaid. And do you think that the popcorn guy is planning to retire after a long hard career at the movie theater? Maybe with a nice pension? HA! The only people it affects are the big executives that want to continue to profit off of our collective stupidity...
This was a comment I posted in a previous mum. My question is this: Do you buy it that by downloading movies on the internet we are truly affecting the entire chain of people in the movie business? I sure don't, as you can tell. Explain away please... |
