Ok Fubarians...I would Like your input.
I retired from the Marines in 2001 and normally every year I go to the local Veterans Hall for the Marine Corps Birthday Ball. A bunch of old and Young Marine Veterans Comparing Stories and getting drunk.
This year One of my very best friends that is retiring after 20 this year has invited me to his Units Marine Corps Birthday Ball in Missouri.
Should I take the Vaction and go to His Last Ball with him and his wife or just stick with my normal routine?
