A person rents a place in any state, or any district. This am a one room place off the house. A fire starts while the person am living there. Could have been a cigaret, could have been anything that caused the fire. There is no saying exactly for sure what caused it. THERE WHERE ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKE ALARMS PRESENT AT ALL IN THE DWELLING.
The landlord insisted it was the renter's fault cause a Cig caused the fire and wants the renter held liable for the damages.
The renter argued the point if the smoke alarm was working I could have easily put out the fire before it caused any kind of damages.
The renter counter-sued and said it was a harmful situation towards him.
POLLING THE PUBLIC, WHO IS RIGHT AND WHO IS WRONG HERE???? |
