Yes, I realize that there are more than two ways a parent can raise a child. Bear with me, I've only got two little options here.
My question is do you feel like your parents raised you to be open-minded and free in your own thoughts? To be your own person?
Or do you feel like your parents pushed their opinions and values on you and sheltered you somewhat?
My parents raised me to respect others, to be free in my own thoughts, and to be open-minded and accepting.
Of course, they were huge hippies, so i suppose it was inevitable, lol.
