| I recently applied for a position with a very reputable sports and talent recruiting firm here in New Jersey and have received an invite for an interview today at 1:30. Here's the problem- I am totally not prepared! It's an hour travel time, I need to get a new suit, visit their website and get familiar with all aspects that go with the job and what the firm is all about. I could stress myself and pull this off, but am concerned with the possible consequences going into the interview not mentally or physically prepared to be at my best. The company could not promise another appointment if I couldn't make it today. I've only been given 14 hours notice to attend the interview. What would you do in this situation? Try to reschedule the interview anyway and hope they were impressed enough to reschedule or bite the bullet and just go as prepared as possible? |
