KONGS for dogs

mum expired. [FRIENDS]

I have been told the "kong" dog toy is the best toy and hard to destroy. Well my 3 year old yellow lab has destroyed 2 of them (medium) and (large). Is there some newer toy out there that is better then the kong? Now he can have a stupid squeek toy that he won't destroy, unless it's a ball with the squeeker in it. Then he will keep going til he gets the squeeker out. ODD!
Reason I am asking this, is the minute I open the gate for the pool that is the first toy he grabs to take in the pool. Only toy he will retrieve in the pool or water.

So do I continue to purchase them cuz he does like it for the water
