| I went and had my lasik eye exam yesterday. I am schedule for the surgery on March 21st. They gave me all kinds of info about the surgery, what to expect, etc. They mention that if needed, they will give you a mild sedative. Well while reading the info, it talks about putting this part in your eye to stop you from blinking. They also talk about a tool they put on your eye that causes a suction on yuor eye ball. Although they numb your eye, this still sounds very discomforting. The procedure does not sound very nice, cutting my cornea,sticking a device in my eye so I can not blink and sucking my eyeball..lol. So I was wondering if maybe I should take some valium ahead of time to make 100% sure I am relaxed or just go with what they give me. |
