| Ok..My 10 y/o son has been bugging me for more freedom. I admit I am a bit over protective..But with society today I'm afraid not to be this way. He asked me alittle while ago If I'd let him walk to the ice cream shop alone. It's about 4 blocks away..We live right in town, and the crime level isn't bad in this area at all. Most everyone knows everyone..but I'm still afraid to. He says he'll never prove to me that he's responsible if I don't give him a chance. If I decide to do this I plan on letting him take my cell phone with him in case he needs me..What do you think? |
