Imagination
bends perception,
the world is seldom what it seems.
Reality and fantasy
blend endlessly in Dreams.
Last night I dreamed reality,
You asked me questions urgently;
and in the dawn,
when my Dreams were gone,
I found these words you scribed for me.
“Where comes the secret smiles we share?
The warmth of laughter touched with care?
The faster beating of our hearts,
Each casual meeting always starts?”.
“Where comes the words you share with me?
What guides your pencil endlessly?
And what is there in poetry
that stirs my feelings happily?”
… “Oh, is there Love in life for me?” …
Here is my reply:
“Bringing Life to Life, blends Love with Life; a symmetry of ecstasy; a mortal form of poetry!" ”
Life is poetry in motion:
imagination in the night;
anticipation in the light;
an energetic rhythmed rime
that spans the Universe with Time.
Love is poetry emotion:
an ever pleasant mystery;
a source of primal energy;
the catalyst of chemistry
that leads to immortality.
Dawn … you ARE poetry:
a tender touching mystery;
a glowing vibrant energy;
cycled sensations of delight
flowing beyond the words I write!
