Not sure if anyone has actually seen either of these, but I thought they were somewhat decent. A couple years ago, ESPN released a show loosely based upon the NFL called "Playmakers." Apparently it hit a little too close to home because pressure from the league made it's first season, it's only season. Another vastly underrated football story, was first a book, then spawned two separate movies based on the same book "Varsity Blues" and "Friday Night Lights." Which show do you believe in more?
