So, my Grandfather *my Father's Dad* passed away this week, and his funeral was Friday. I was not close to him at all, and that goes with everyone on my Fathers side, and My Mom's side is pretty much the same now.
So, needless to say didn't cry, and was no where near upset by all of this. It also didn't help that some lady got up to speak of a memory of my Grandfather and spoke of how proud he was to have a Grandson *my cousin* and how much he loved him, so I figured out the lack of Grandfathering skills was due because I wasn't born the right sex.
So, to my question, anyone else had a family member they weren't close to pass way and felt no remorse?
I feel some remorse, just on the fact that I didn't know him, if he is anything like my Dad he would have been a great guy. My Family and I would go over to his house on Christmas Eve occasionally and I have absolutely no memories of him, so whatever, sorry so long! |
