| While pondering where would be a good place to vacation, I found a blog that was apparently written by some parsimonious political poophead who was trying to christen the Democrat majority in Congress a spendthrift hegemony. Rather than attempt to put this American princess in his place, I googled a place to relax, preferably with a plethora of dragon sculptures, murals, etc. I also wanted a phone number to verify that they have Dr Pepper products, as I detest Coke and have so far refused to stay where only the latter is served in the hostelry's restaurants, bars, etc. I Googled China hotels, and came across a place in Shanghai, with beautiful décor, with not only the requisite dragons, but bamboo and Asian lilies an foo dogs. Truly a serendipity! The only issue it seems that China does not believe in choice of soft drinks. Dr Pepper does not seem to appear in their menu. So - Should I deal and stay there, or continue searching? |
