| serious mumm here guys... of so i am out of town in VA, and i am getting to spend time with my cuz. she is sooo sweet and kind and just all around a really good person. and she is very proper. she doesn't drink or smoke or party or anything. not because she doesn't want to try things but because her father has basically terrified her her intire life. he tells her these horriable things, for instance she stayed the night with me last night and we stayed up and gossiped and did tha whole cuz thing, she called and asked her parents if she could and everything, and then got up this morning and left before 8 to go home, well when she got there her dad asked her why she stayed, and couldn't she see that none of us wanted her here, and blah blah blah. well yesterday, she told me that she wanted a tattoo, and that she had been thinking about it for a year, and she asked me to go with her. i really didn't think that she was going to do it, but i'll be damned if she didn't. and i just know that he is going to give her hell for it. seriously.... and she will not stand up for herself, she has taken it for so long that i don't think she knows how. she is 21, going on 22, and she wants to,, but i think that she is scared that he will like seriously hurt her. soo the question is,, do i get in tha middle of it? stick my nose in it so to speak, and tell him that he needs to stop treating her this way? tell him that he is turning her into someone that she isn't? he needs to know, and i figure one day she will get fed up, but what kind of life is it for her until that point? so to butt in and try to show her that she can stand up to him now, and possiably make things harder for her,, or wait until she is bitter and and fed up and let her do it herself? |
