K so Im a total insomniac and I dont know what sleep is. Sooo I get a brain wave idea to write. I havent written in years although I used to dailey. So I wrote this poem. Tell me what you think. It is good or just the rantings of a tired chick that should be sleeping.
As I lie here awake in the dark,
many thoughts run through my head.
An aching pit of emptyness engulfs me.
I am so alone.
There is no one to hold,
no one to share my heart.
no one to fill the void.
I am so alone.
You used to lie with me,
there was a glimmer of light.
We laughed and shared and loved.
But now I am so alone.
You were taken so swiftly,
no warning or goodbyes.
My love is gone away now.
I am so alone. |
