O.K. here is the issue I have three children ranging in age from 15,8, and 5 my oldest knows how I feel about christmas and he knows we celebrate on christmas eve ya know the whole nine yards food presents and family we are a small family and it is only the kids and I this year it is the roomate and her kids which makes me real happy and excited.anyway my oldest comes to me last nite and tells me he wants to go to Shorewood for christmas instead of bein here mind you he does not live with me so all the more reason I want him here I told him no on christmas eve but christmas day that would be fine he was not happy with that so I told him later in the day on the eve he can go he still was not happy he looked and said"mom I have been doin the same routine for 14 yrs this year I wanna do somethin different". I understand the child is getting older but this made me upset.
anyway that is the jist. Now should I still say no? Or avoid all arguments on the holidays and let him? If more info is needed to answer just ask and I will tell you. |
