My Friends daughter asked me if she could keep her cat at my house. (My friend is going through a divorce. So me being a good friend. I said yes. But her daughter kept the cat on a lease. Well my husband was playing around saying the cat was going to hang herself. He was only joking.
We come home yesterday from visiting His mom for mothers day and I found the cat wrapped around my fence just hanging there. So, Now her daughter is mad at my husband for joking around with her. And she is blaming him for the death of her cat.
How would you handle it. Do you think it was just bad karma or it was just a stupid cat.
Any suggestions on how to talk to her daughter (she is 12) and tell her it wasn't anyones fault
