I took my Daughter to visit a college that is 4 hrs away. I took her just to start looking at colleges and to get a feel at what type of college she might want to go to. We spent 5 hrs there and drove back. I come to find out she didn't want to go and told her friends she was forced to go. I was pissed when she said that but I didn't say anything to her, plus I never got a Thank You for taking her. It hurt me not to even get a Thank You from her. She's a straight A student and it's not like her not to thank me for driving all that way for her.
So my Question is .......... Am I over reacting by getting pissed or hurt by not getting a Thank You from her? |
