| I love my job and am thankful to have one. The Company I work for got bought by a World wide Company last year. We get only six paid Holidays a year; New Years, Christmas, 4th of July, Memorial Day, Labor Day and Thanksgiving. We were just informed that we will have to work on the 4th (sat), and the 3rd(Fri), but will get holiday pay also on the 3rd. Those of us planning a family outing that day had to call everyone back and cancel. Thing is, if the Company I work for is no longer from America, Why give us Memorial day off and not the 4th of July? Does that make sense to you? |
