| I know there are other parents here and I have been fighting with myself for a few weeks now, so please be nice. My three year old son is in a nice daycare, a well-known common corporate chain day care, but lately it is so expensive with everything else I am drowning keeping him in it. The only reason I put him in it was because even though it was a longer drive, he and I both hit it off immediately with the staff and the other children and that spark wasn't present at the other closer (cheaper) day care centers. He has been there almost a year. Should I leave him in the farther away more expensive place because he and I are comfortable there, or should I put him in a cheaper closer daycare center and save precious money in this terrible economy we are living in? ( By closer I mean that at the end of the day it is about 20 miles round trip out of the way on my way to work) |
