Watched a Lithuanian movie, called Nuodemes Uzkalbejimas, -- "Whisper of Sin" It's an interesting one and I reflected quite a lot. The story is about a nearly-suicidal, young woman visits a psychotherapist. She is in love with a priest, and the diagnosis of her husband's mental illness leaves no hope. The psychotherapist, in her attempts to resolve the amassed difficulties, seemingly begins to duplicate the life stages and behavioral patterns of her patient. By choosing a priest as the main role for a love story, the author broke an existing societal taboo. Faith, Love and Hope form the trilogy by the authors of this screenplay. Love stands as the grandest of the three. If life is about finding the feeling of being wanted, is it something wrong? In this story, it surprised me that it didn't bore me and it's the first Lithuanian movie I've ever seen. Tonight, a relationship ended, a new journey started. Moving forward from a relationship is an important stage in life. I am learning from it and started the steps. Faith, Love and Hope, these three things are everywhere in our lives, the question is, if we found them or they found us. I found my faith and love, now hope found me. Whispers told me I have to learn to forget and let things go, sins remains in me, the only way to help myself to move on, is to forgive. to forgive myself and give a flower to that funeral, burring the memories but allow myself to visit it once or twice a year to recall the memories I had in that coffin. That was part of me in that coffin. That part of me should be remembered but cannot be a trap to keep me from moving. It's a new morning, and I am going.
