mum expired. [EVERYONE]

My son is joining the Army on the delayed entry program....he graduates on the 17th. Anyway,he has been told that once he swears in, he is government property and cannot get a tattoo. If he does, then he can be charged for defacing government property. I've never heard such horsesh*t before.

Is this true? Have things changed that MUCH with the military?
