I have a
crush on someone!
So much to say, and so little space. I've been that big city corporate executive/entrepreneur most of my life. Now I find myself becoming a country boy, learning to do things that I've never experienced before. Lake/river fishing is new to me, and man, I'm loving it.
I was living in Canada for the last 6 yrs, but due to "irreconcilable" differences, I am now back at home in the US, and I must say, it feels good to be back. Ohio is now home, Oak Harbor to be more specific, and let me tell you, I'm loving the rustic life. I never want to live within a city again. I'm looking forward to planting a garden next season, while I do some commercial catfishing, then in the fall hunting and trapping (for both food and money).
I haven't lost my entrepreneurial spirit though, and I will be running a couple of different operations here, including a line of ultra high efficiency rooftop windmills (commercial and residential use), and the above fishing and hunting. This time though, my work won't consume my life. I don't need much anymore......I've been rich in money, but never been rich in quality of life. I choose the latter this time.

Interests
I've often said that boredom is a sure sign of a small mind, and for that reason, I have many interests:
Reading (everything from ancient history, to economic dissertations, psychiatric reviews, sci-fi, fantasy, etc
Music (Everything from classical to swing, to punk/thrash/death metal, and even some country and other things I found I never liked before). I am even beginning to start producing music again (personal only, my own music), which I've enjoyed doing for over 20 yrs now.
Hunting/Fishing/Camping/Trapping/Wilderness Survival: GOOD TIMES!!
Cooking/Food: Love it all from sushi to burgers, from greasy spoons to The Tavern on the Green. Cooking is always fun as well.
To be honest, there is too much that I enjoy in life to list here, and I'm always finding new things to try. Variety is the Spice of Life.

I like most everything except pop music, and new rap (grew up in South Central and love the original classic rappers like Sugar Hill Gang, Ice T, BDP, PE, etc). I'm even finding an interest in country music now.......go figure!
Movies
I like good movies, with plots, and acting. I don't like most movies made today, without people who can't act, writers who lost the art of writing, and are all eye candy, and no substance.
I also enjoy some of the old "social engineering" movies of the 60's and 70's, like Soylent Green, Logan's Run, 1984, etc.
Idols
Great thinkers like Thomas Jefferson, John Locke, Bastiat, Cicero, etc. Men who stood by, and were willing to die for their beliefs and principals. That is something we sorely lack today...people with ethics, principals, and honor. I like to think that I help to inspire those ideas again, in today's world, with my radio broadcasts at wwww.youhavetreadonme.com. Many ppl say I do, and that I create an impact in our society because of it. I hope they are right.
Video Games
I like more of the RTS games, like Warhammer 40K, Starcraft, etc, but I don't spend a bunch of time on them.
