Ok, this is the run down.
Deep down inside I really love this man but lately it seems like he's too busy to spend any time with me. It's hard to stay in love with a man who seems like at this point in time he doesn't want to be around you. He swears he wants to be with me but he's "too busy" hanging out with friends when he's not working. He wants me to remain his "semiquasy girlfriend" (whatever that means) while he has fun and straightens out his life. We were together for 3 1/2 years before we split up almost 3 months ago. He swears up and down that I am the only person he's sleeping with since him and his other girlfriend broke up, but he goes out with his friends to meet and hang out with "potential slot fillers" because he doesn't want to be tied down to one girl because he's not ready for a serious relationship again yet. Therefore he wants no more or less than 2 girlfriends at a time. (He's got one slot open right now.)
For the past three weeks it seemed like he only wanted me around when he wanted a piece or needed help for one reason or another. Well he told me he realized that he was coming off as using me so he stopped. Well for the past week he has called me for 5 minute phone calls just to say hi and he has only shown up to spend time with me 1 time in that week for an hour to get a piece before work.
He told me that he realizes that some part of him thinks I'm always gonna be here and that maybe subconsciously he's pushing me away by not spending time with me cause he thinks I'm not going anywhere. That I'll be here waiting for him whenever he wants but that he does want to be in a serious relationship with me again but he's not ready right now.
So help me make up my mind.
Do I
A: Stay here waiting around for him to come around while feeling unwanted, lonely and like an idiot because I love him.
or
B: Move on with my life, tell him to bug off, and make myself happy.
