My wife and I have had a rough year, and I'm surprised wometimes that we've made it this far.
This year for Christmas, I started shopping early, and bought all the big stuff by November, while I still had time to put it on layaway, and not break my checking account.
This year, she finished up the shopping for her family, and then apologized to me, and said that she ran out of money for me.
Should I read into this, and take it as a slap in the face, or for what it is?
To me, its the principle of the thing. |
