Recently upon talking to several of my friends, I have learned of a similar predicament among them.

When they are single they seem to have really neat and (platonic) friends.

However once it's revealed that they have a significant other things seem to change.

So...should they have to inform and re-evaluate friendships every time they change their relationship status...

...or were they never truly friends--dealing out guilt trips instead of being happy for them?
