I spent most of my government career as a speechwriter for senior officials under five U.S. presidents. My last job was for the Pentagon Police Force. Today I work for myself. I also have a website - www.precisionwriters.com - so I can freelance my writing and work from home. I once won the top speechwriting award in the U.S. I am a single father of a wonderful son who is my life. He was born on New Years Eve. I am so blessed to have him. He is an example of what I try to be every day. I'm a huge fan of mixed martial arts ever since I earned a black belt in Kyokushinkai, a Japanese form of karate, when I was younger. I am proficient with the weapon I carry, a 9 mm Smith & Wesson. If I really need to unwind, I dust off my sniper rifle and shoot at targets. I do not hunt animals. I love animals. I hate to shave. Most of the time I have a 5 o'clock shadow on my face like I always need a shave. I am a cancer survivor. I like to dress in comfortable clothes - tennis shirts and turtle necks and cargo pants. I'm from DC via New Mexico via New England (with side trips to Jamaica). I believe in "paying it forward." I am here to make friends. Period. I have had many wonderful relationships and one marriage. Been there. Done that. Not planning on doing it again. I have the greatest respect for women because I think many women face more obstacles in life than men do. If I don't respond to my fu friends acts of generosity, it's only because I have too many other things going on in my life. First and foremost is my real life family. When I want to kick back and relax, I have a drink, watch a movie, listen to music, surf the Internet, dabble in the stock market on my computer, or drive my car at night, with the XM radio blasting away, going around the interstate in no particular direction or destination. It is soothing to me. I haven't been to a bar in a long time. I got that whole bar scene out of my system long ago. I donate to veterans groups (I've lost good friends in war) and to St. Jude's burn centers for children. I like all types of music from all different composers, bands, and cultures, with the exception of rap, unless it makes sense, which it seldom does, at least to me. My son loves rap. I tolerate it. I love music from the 60s through the 2010's to Indies to whatever. As for movies, I love anything that resembles the Jason Bourne series, or movies starring Jason Statham. Basically hard core action/adventure/thriller movies. If U know them U know what I'm talkin about. I like the TV series Persons of Interest, the Jack Bauer series, and The Transporter. I am not on Fu much anymore because I have too many other things going on. I don't have a lot of free time. If you would like to be a friend of mine, just ask! Cheers!
