mum expired. [EVERYONE]

After a long week at work (55+ hours) and working a Saturday to boot, I'd like to go out, see a friend's band, and shake hands with the Captain. I told my wife this, and she agreed to it. She also got mandated to work today, and I know that she will get home, and immediately cancel our plans, stating that she is tired. We just had a discussion on how life is passing us by, and we use the excuse we're tired way too much. So should I go without her, or stay home and be miserable.
