| ok, i have a pretty bad injury to my back. had surgery in november and one in may. went back to the doctor on wednesday, and he says it's time now for fusion. they want to do the surgery next month. thing is, this one will be a hell of a lot worse than the last two. (back full of titanium) my birthday is next month, and last year i misses thanksgiving and christmas with my family due to the surgery in november. (i live 150 miles from my family) i want to wait until after the new year, the doctor said it's up to me but he wouldn't recommend it. so what should i do??? should i wait so i will have a good birthday and holidays with the family or should i let him go ahead and do the surgery? |
