My interests are pretty tame.

I absolutely love to read (I have several audiobooks on my ipod I'm working on right now), am an aspiring writer, and love to draw and paint. I also love to cook, without sounding conceited I have been told by tons of people I should open a restaurant. But my favorite way to apply that skill/interest is by having a bunch of friends over and making them a great meal...and we always have someone over! I listen to music all the time, love to browse and research anything on the internet, and am a complete Discovery channel nerd. I watch TV probably WAY too much, am a massive CSI (whichever show is on I'll watch, but my fave is Miami), have watched ER since the beginning, am addicted to the sappy but wonderful Extreme Makeover Home Edition, and Dancing With the Stars (sorry, but the dancing is cool and the chicks are hot--my husband and I watch it together, but for different reasons, LOL!). My current fave is The Shield.

Interests I have but haven't been able to fulfill yet: I aspire to learn how to garden someday, want to learn how to scuba dive, drive a race car, sew without pricking myself and getting knots in the thread, and learn another language (I already know English and Spanish).

I am a music lover, I like a little of pretty much everything. My ipod has it all, from Abba to Marilyn Manson to Oasis to the Beatles to the Dixie Chicks to Korn to the Chemical Brothers...you name it, I love it!

Right now I'm jamming out a lot to progressive rock and oldies, a lot of Genesis, the Police, Fall Out Boy, the Killers, etc. I always have my ipod on my hip while I clean the house or whatever. My husband recently made my year by giving me a brand new ipod touch, to replace one that I lost last year. He knew it was the best present he could give me--I'm not really a candy and jewelry kind of gal!
