Music can tell alot about the person you are.

For me music isnt just words and a beat, or whos in the top 40.

I gravitate to songs that have lyrics which at the time might best describe how I am feeling or unlock some part of me that needs some release.

I dont always go the popular route, choosing songs that meet my moods... sometimes to get me going, some times to calm me down.

I listen to pretty much all genre, with or without words, popular, alternative, heavy metal to tibetan monestry chanting.

Recently a person sent me a song, some one whom I have great respect and admiration for. Now ordinarily I wouldnt have paid much attention to this song but for some reason I did... and the words. Happy to say that this song now has pride of place as number 1 on my MP4 player.

Music can alter how you feel, can bring about a change, can empower you and release you.

If youre not listening to music (any type or style) then there is something the matter with you ! ! !
