Hi, Ya'll! I'm Diane, a widow who took early retirement due to disability and I live in a zoo. Well, not really, but it sure feels that way sometimes, lol. Actually I live in a lively household of 9 and the kids outnumber the adults 2 to 1. Sometimes that changes to ratio of 6 to 1, and it can get hairy, scary or contrary around here when the little beggers are hungry and sleepy, lol. Just kidding. Not about the size, but the hairy/scary business. Actually we feel quite blessed with our children (in my case only one child left and he was adopted when I was 42), and wouldn't trade them for all the rice in China. I'm the daughter of a well respected contractor from Dallas, Tx (though sadly he is gone now)and my mom just celebrated her 80th birthday. I have two older twin sisters, two natural daughters and an adopted 16 year old grandson. He has 4 siblings and I have another granddaughter by my eldest daughter. I come from a musically and artisticlly inclined family and am happy to say that it is trickling down through some of the grandkids. Due to a back injury and arthritis I am not able to do the things I once did, but thankfully my family and hobbies keep me from being bored to often. My main objective for coming to Fubar is to meet people and add some new friends, but it wouldn't break my heart if I found someone to share my life with, if you catch my drift?
