If I was a man I would totally be a drag queen. since I'm not I have to settle for being weird.


teaching is one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. it ranks right up there with raising kids. thing is, tho it's hard, I wouldn't change it for anything in the world.

more than likely I would give you the shirt off my back. it's the truth. I've not always been that way. there was a time when I was younger I was a selfish asshole. I think everyone goes through that phase. I'm past it. I've been so poor I can't afford to pay attention and I made it through because of people who were greater than themselves. so now I try to be like that. sure, you get hurt but that's life. I suppose I could sit in my own little world and not care but I don't want to. I want to change the world. and if that means I sometimes get hurt, I am willing to pay the price.

so I have this weird thing for symmetry when it comes to body modification. nothing irks me more than to see someone with three piercings on one side and none of the other. it looks odd.

also, please don't get piercings or tattoos to be trendy. you gotta ask yourself if you're still going to like it when you're 50 or 60 or older. if you don't think you will, don't do it. I know all your friends are doing it but think for yourself.

I should add that not everyone can pull off the modified look. they just can't. yeah, it's cool that you have them but a lot of times people look worse when they have them.

one last thing, don't think I'm trendy and that I'm too old okay? I've been modifying my body for 20 years now. definitely not because it's the trendy thing to do. it's a way for me to express who I am. and no, I don't know anything about a modding culture. I'm sure there is but I've never been part of it. I just do what I want. I look at my tattoos and piercings as a way to show people who I am. that's it.

and yes, when I'm 80 I'll still have mine.
