Music huh boy this is a very long and odd mix for me. I dont evenknow where to start. As a child I was raised on the legends of rock like the Doors, Who, Janis Joplin, Hendrix, Kiss, The Greatful Dead, The Beattles, just to name a few and they all still hold a place in my mucical listening intrest. But as I grew up I found a intrest in playing istraments and alot of new bands. I was a head banger listening to bands like Metalica, Slayer, Mega death but at the same time as I was jaming out listening to power ballads I was in a school orcistra and I played a string bass and even got into the percutions. I saw that great composers such as Bach and Mozart and many other great composers were the first genious of rock and alot of people never see it they think all clasical music is just a bore. As time went on i started geting into some alternive groups like Nirvana and Red Hot Chili Peppers and it was great to see some of these bands play live before they became big hits in the main stream industy catching shows at local clubs. But then I discovered Hardcore Metal long before it was broken down into difrent generes it was all the same to us then loud fast and full of anger. I was listening to a great mix from Life of Agony, Bio hazard, One King Down, Tree, Section 8 and so forth. By that point I was even in a band and picked up a apprecation for Jazz at the same time since Hard Core was a combination of Metal meets jazz when it came to the style of how you played and formed your beats. Then one day a great friend of mine turned me onto something new it was like rap but at the same time the lyrics reminded me of Hard Core and I fell in love with what latter has become better known as Horror Core. The first group I heard was ICP and yeah alot of you will bust my balls for this but if you actly spent some time listening to the orginal stuff and did it with out a thinking of most of the twits you see or hear about causing drama or acting like the Juggalo thing is a gang you will find alot of great stuff and a great message along with it all. I can say over the last 13 years I have Been listening and a Juggalo I have turned my life around from a train wreck of a life story where the only possible out come would have been where I would wind up doing a life of prison. But instead the music evoled me and opened my eyes up to see things in a new light, i refound religon and faith in God, I droped alot of my old ways and vices and slowly became a bettert person. I learned to respect people and not to give a fuck what others thought as long as I keep on the right path in life and keep up with making my life better and helping those out along the way if I could.
