I have been a member of the Knights of Columbus for over 46 years and was a member of their junior organization (Columbian Squires) prior to that. I am a Past Grand Knight of Pope Pius XII Council #4255 in Bayside, Queens, NY and am currently the Financial Secretary. I am also a Past Faithful Navigator of Commodore John Barry Assembly #712 Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus in Queens County, and am a Former District Deputy, and currently Secretary of the Queens County Conference. In addition to the K of C, I have also been a member of the International Order of Alhambra for many years. I am a Past Grand Commander of Orosius Caravan #39 and a Past Regional Director for Eastern New York State of that organization. I have recently become a member of the Catholic War Veterans of the United States of America.
Other than my extensive activities with fraternal organizations, I'm a U.S. Army veteran serving from 1966 through 1968, and am retired from the circulation end of the publishing industry.

Interests
My interests are: baseball (Yankees, Mets, Staten Island Yankees, and Brooklyn Cyclones); For my music & movies likes, see those sections of the profile. I also like everything about computers & software including social networking like FaceBook, MySpace, and Twitter. In addition to those interests I've already mentioned, I'm very much into Conservative politics - I'm about as "right-wing" as you can get, especially on social issues.
Music
I like 50's & 60's "oldies" (doo wop, etc) but especially instrumentals like Duane Eddy, The Ventures, Dick Dale, The Surfaris, The Chantays, Johnny & The Hurricanes, etc., country music like Travis Tritt, Charlie Daniels Band, Alan Jackson, Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, etc. I also enjoy much of the 80's music. As far as current artists, I'm a big fan of CORAL (pronounced cor AL), from Buenos Aires, Argentina, who I became friends with while she lived in NYC.
Movies
I like mostly comedies, especially those with good "rock & roll" soundtracks; some action/adventure, and some westerns. Don't like Horror flicks.
Video Games
I don't play video games.
