Interests
Good books! I love to read, I collect books, I respect books (few people do now a days). Currently I'm reading 'Dies the Fire' by S.M. Stirling and 'Judgment Day' by James F. David. Good movies! I love GOOD movies! Not those stupid Scary Movie spoofs, I mean really great movies like 300, Gladiator, The Matrix, Back to the Future, Death to Smoochy, Analyze This/That, Boondock Saints, Poolhall Junkies, Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, The One, Legend of the Drunken Master, Kung Fu Hustle, Kung Fu Panda, Equilibrium, X Men, Spiderman, Ironman, Fantastic 4, The Incredible Hulk, From Dusk Til Dawn, Kill Bill, Pulp Fiction, Death Proof, Cube, Planes Trains and Automobiles, Uncle Buck, The Great Outdoors, Beverly Hills Ninja, Black Sheep, Tommy Boy, Rat Race, Batman Begins/Dark Knight....just to name a few. Good music (see music section). Good company! I just enjoy hangin out with good, fun people. No drama, not getting butt-hurt about everything. I smoke tobacco, and marijuana, if you don't, that's ok, people who don't smoke are still cool, unless they have the misconception or hold a false belief that pot smokers are stupid or druggies (we're not)...Hit me up if you wanna chat! Buy me a drink, I'm thirsty!
Music
I feel the need to explain why I have certain songs on my playlist...Not that I owe anyone an explanation of why I like the things I like, but...Some people like songs for the lyrics and lyrics alone. For what they mean, the picture that they paint, the story they tell, the feelings they provoke, or the memories they might conjure from the depths of nostalgia. Some people only like songs for their music, not lyrics. Some bands have really shitty lyrics that mean absolutely nothing (nothing to me, but, I'm sure they mean something to someone), but they play their instruments with impressive ability. Other bands might play their instruments like a five year old banging on pots and pans in the kitchen, but are the poetic geniuses of our time. Usuing really intelligent metaphors, similes, and rhyming schemes. I'm like that. I like some songs for the music and music only, other songs I like for band's ability to put words together that make sense. I like songs for specific reasons...my reasons.
This is my playlist. 200 songs that I enjoy listening to. However, this is only a small taste of what I like. I could easily add one hundred more songs and I still wouldn't feel satisfied with it.
